Harrington Starr are excited to partner with a leading, global commodities trading organization who are looking to hire an IT Trading Business Partner to join their successful Geneva-based team.
This is an exciting position allowing you exposure to both business and technical users with the autonomy to work on a variety of dynamic projects.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support for trading applications.
- Contributing to the testing and implementation of new developments or interfaces.
- Overseeing the roadmap for trading applications.
- Conducting business analysis and capturing specifications.
- Ensuring the maintenance of interfaces between business applications (ETL).
- Developing and maintaining trading reports.
- A bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent qualification is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server databases and extensive experience with T-SQL is essential.
- Prior experience in ETL and BI is a requirement.
- Strong project management skills and adeptness in business analysis are expected.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable role is preferred.
- Experience within trading or banking environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of C#/.NET is desirable.
- Possession of a Diploma of Advanced Study in commodity trading is preferred.
- Experience in user support is beneficial.
