Principal Data Engineer – Relocate to UAE
Our client a leading tech Consultancy are searching for a Principal Data Engineer to lead the architectural design, development and delivery of high performant solutions for the Commercial and Investment banking space.
The chosen candidate will have a deep understanding of the Capital Markets & Commercial Banking space alongside a proven track record designing and delivering innovative technology.
As the first hire into this newly created business function, you will lead the design and delivery of data architectures utilising analytics at scale, and will get to work with cutting edge technologies to deliver real time data analytics.
Responsibilities & Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience within the banking industry (Payments, Risk analytics, Trade finance, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience in the architecture and deliver of real time analytics platforms
- Python/Java
- Cloud computing platforms (Azure preferable)
- Snowflake, Power BI, Kafka, SQL will be utilised
- Relocation to the UAE is a must
This is a great role for an experienced data engineer/architect looking to work on a greenfield project.
