Core Responsibilities
- Take a lead in developing comprehensive end-to-end test strategies tailored to the application's specific requirements
- Creation of test plans that outline test scenarios, test cases, and testing timelines
- Maintain complete test coverage and meeting functional and non-functional requirements
- Manage functional, regression, integration, and performance tests
- Record and document test results, defects, and issues using testing tools and Azure DevOps
- Use Azure DevOps to link defects with specific test cases and user stories
- Working closely with the dev team to identify opportunities for test automation
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright and other automation frameworks
Qualifications
- 5 years+ experience in a dedicated QA or Testing role involving web applications and Api’s
- Working background in Financial Services, FinTech, Banking or similar
- Test automation experience including Gherkin and/or Playwright
- Strong SQL skills – to include queries, against Microsoft SQL Server, performing data analysis
- Knowledge of Azure and microservice architectures
- Experience with Agile methodologies and bug tracking tools
- Experience using Azure DevOps for defect management, logging, tracking, and reporting
- Demonstrable knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
