Delivery Lead for IT Controls project.
6 month initial contract rolling for 2 years
Hybrid working with a London base.
As the Delivery Lead for an IT Risk and Control project, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all project components, with a strong focus on managing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your role will involve identifying and mitigating risks associated with IT controls, ensuring the project adheres to governance frameworks and security standards. You will be accountable for project planning and execution, ensuring budgets, timelines, and resources are effectively managed. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical experts to ensure alignment on project objectives. Additionally, you will be proactive in identifying potential roadblocks or issues, resolving them promptly to ensure smooth project delivery. Your leadership and expertise in regulatory requirements and risk management will be critical in delivering successful project outcomes.
Must have IT Controls and IT Risk experience
We'd love for you to have worked for HSBC or a similar sized banking organisation.
Responsibilities

- Project Planning & Execution: Ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with IT control objectives.
- Budget & Resource Management: Proficiency in overseeing project budgets, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring financial accountability.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT controls, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements relevant to risk management.
- Issue Resolution: Skilled in foreseeing potential roadblocks, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring smooth delivery of projects within set constraints.
