London-based market-maker / liquidity provider of OTC and exchange-based derivative products, with a growing presence in Australia and Argentina, and London.

The proprietary technology stack is capable of market-making and providing liquidity in all margin and cash-settled products (CFDs, futures, FX, cryptos, sports betting, etc.), allowing their clients and partners to increase the trading products they provide retail and institutional traders.

You will work on their state of art ultra-low latency trading systems across asset classes (equities, commodities, currencies, fixed income) that trade on global exchanges.

The role:
  • Design, develop and test proprietary software in Java
  • Trading strategy simulation software optimized for distributed computation.
  • Large scale data acquisition, storage, accessibility, and visualization.
  • Identify innovative solutions to complex problems and advocate for their implementation to your team by communicating your ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with other software developers, quantitative traders, and researchers in cross-functional team environments.
You  need:
  • 3+ years of hands-on Software Development experience in either Java or C++
  • Experience in low latency systems
  • A good understanding of networking, multicasting, UDP, TCP/IP.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Know how to manage physical server rack
  • A passion for new technologies and ideas. 
  • Strong understanding of data-structures & algorithms.
  • Good working knowledge of Python.

This role is suitable for a person who is happy to work in a small, flat structure, you ideally love the start-up environment where you get to wear “many hats”.

You must be living in the UK with full right to work, and you can commit to at least 2-3 days in the office. (London)
