£650 - £750 per day inside IR35
Programme Manager for Payments and Mainframe Technology Programme.
12-month initial contract, rolling for 3 years
Hybrid working with a London base.
As the Programme Manager, you will oversee multiple projects related to Payments systems and Mainframe technology, ensuring alignment with business goals, timely delivery, and resource management. You will be responsible for program governance, working closely with senior management and key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. You’ll need to have excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate large teams and complex deliverables, mitigating risks as they arise.
Must have extensive experience in managing large-scale Payments or Mainframe technology programs.
We’d love for you to have worked for HSBC or a similarly large financial institution.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple interconnected projects within the Payments and Mainframe technology space
- Define the program’s structure, objectives, and deliverables
- Ensure effective program governance and reporting
- Manage program budget, timelines, and resource allocation
- Work closely with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Identify and mitigate risks across the program
- Facilitate communication between project managers and relevant teams
- Ensure delivery aligns with overall business objectives
