A premier multi-strategy hedge fund headquartered in London is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Linux Platform Engineer to join their team. This role requires a technical expert who is proficient in the following areas:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and optimize infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and APIs.
- Lead and implement automation initiatives to streamline operations.
- Administer and maintain Kubernetes environments, ensuring stability and performance.
- Integrate and manage basic networking, authentication protocols, and interoperability with Windows and cloud environments.
- Be hands-on in developing and managing Python environments, including JupyterHub and Artifactory.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in coding and infrastructure management, particularly with Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and authentication protocols.
- Experience in integrating Linux platforms with Windows and various cloud services.
- Demonstrated expertise in Python coding and managing Python environments.
- Highly technical and hands-on approach, capable of tackling complex infrastructure challenges.
