Infrastructure Engineer – Top Hedge Fund in London - £120,000 - £140,000 + Bonus
Harrington Starr are currently searching for an Infrastructure Engineer to join one of our Top Hedge Fund clients based in Central London. Our illustrious client is considered a pioneer when it comes to Quantitative Trading and employs a wide range of investment strategies to be one of the world’s best.
You will be joining a cross functional platform engineering team and be responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of infrastructure systems, largely on Windows-based systems.

You will be joining a cross functional platform engineering team and be responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of infrastructure systems, largely on Windows-based systems.
What are we looking for?
- Windows software development and systems automation experience.
- C# or PowerShell is preferred; experience with Python and Rust is also beneficial.
- Experience integrating systems across on-premises and cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, and GCP) and working with containers on Windows and Linux is preferred.
- Windows Server applications and management tools (e.g., Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, and ADFS
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts is required
- Expert understanding of the Windows platform and related technologies (e.g., Active Directory and Failover Clustering) is required.
- Familiarity with a variety of tracing tools such as WireShark, ETW, and ProcMon.
- Have a Degree in Computer Science or something comparable.
- Worked in a Financial Services/Trading environment.
